Trump’s Inner Circle Trades: New Highs for Bitcoin and a Nuclear Power Executive Order
15 years ago today Laszlo Hanyecz bought 2 pizzas for 10,000 Bitcoin.
That Bitcoin is now worth $1.2 BILLION

Not much going on in the market yesterday but a great day and after hours for some of our themes. Bitcoin made all time highs…

This is what I mean when I say that Crypto is a Trump’s Inner Circle trade…
I’d be a buyer on pullbacks of crypto and crypto related.
There was this after hours….
*TRUMP TO SIGN ORDERS TO BOOST NUCLEAR POWER AS SOON AS FRIDAY, SOURCES SAY

This now fits perfectly into my Trump Inner Circle theme. I don’t remember if I have been talking about nuclear lately, I do know I mentioned OKLO yesterday on the Rebel Finance Podcast and Jeremy mentioned his favorite, LTBR. Just like Bitcoin I’d be careful chasing these names now. One of the main reasons we are planning to launch a paid version of this newsletter is so we can show you all of our trades as I have a lot of positions in a lot of themes. Every morning I try to pick out the major ones and I don’t want readers to miss anything.
SPACs continue to be strong….
In excess of 20 SPACs (pre-merge; some with targets, some without) now have their shares trading ABOVE estimated cash in trust. Some are substantially in excess, some just modestly so. The entire space continues to re-rate higher. What would truly be powerful is to get another

SPAC & De-SPAC Trading Stats (05/22/25)
Absolutely wild action in SPACland. We have a DA SPAC hanging out at a cool 5x NAV, while another SPAC with only an announced LOI surged past $14.
SPACs (DA partner):
- $CEP (Twenty One Capital) popped +16.0% to $49.95 on 3.55M volume.

There was this in quantum….
I’m going to announce that Tuttle Capital aims to become the BlackRock of leveraged, inverse, and thematic ETFs.
Regional banks look shortable here….

BREAKING 🚨: U.S. Banks
U.S. Banks are currently facing $482 Billion in unrealized losses, an increase of 33% from the prior quarter.
With rates now skyrocketing, these losses are going to increase. Banks, particularly small banks, are in trouble!!

Rates came down a bit yesterday and are down again so far today….

The major indices look pretty boring again, seems as if the real action will once again be in the themes.
The Race to Autonomy: Who Will Win the Multi-Trillion Dollar Self-Driving Car Boom?
Last week, TD Cowen dropped a bombshell in its “Autonomous Vehicles: The Future Is Now”
|
Executive Brief: the self-driving revolution is accelerating faster than even the most optimistic bulls anticipated—and it will remake entire industries in its wake .
Forget tomorrow’s world of flying cars and robot butlers. The robots already on our streets—Waymo’s robotaxis, Tesla’s Autopilot fleet, Mobileye’s vision chips—are on the verge of breaking out from pilot programs into full-scale commercial rollouts. And once they hit escape velocity, they will crush old-line automakers, reshape rideshare, and even threaten the margins of your favorite tech giants.
1. Why Now Is the Moment of Truth
Breakeven Economics at Hand: TD Cowen’s proprietary model pegs the all-in cost for a profitable Waymo robotaxi at $98,000—down from today’s $160,000 estimate—once depreciation, operations, and remote-operator support are factored in .
Rideshare Market Awaits Disruption: U.S. rideshare bookings, now $59 billion, could double to $121 billion by 2034—yet robotaxis will capture roughly 5% of the market in less than a decade as costs plunge and consumer trust grows .
Tesla’s Secret Advantage: In sprawling “low-density” cities—home to 79% of Americans—Tesla already sells 60% of its cars and can deploy a “CyberCab” fleet at a fraction of Waymo’s sensor bill, unlocking new revenue streams from regions other AVs can’t yet serve .
Human Drivers Aren’t Dead: Uber and Lyft will survive—and thrive—by blending human and autonomous rides. TD Cowen’s “optimal mix” model calls for 10–20% of trips served by robots, allowing incumbents to defend margins while dipping toes into AV pools .
2. The Winners & Losers of the AV Gold Rush
Ticker | Company | Rating | Why It Wins (or Loses) |
---|---|---|---|
GOOGL | Alphabet (Waymo) | 10/10 | The undisputed pioneer in Level 4 autonomy—backed by Google’s AI, mapping, and deep pockets. |
TSLA | Tesla | 9/10 | Sensor-lite, software-heavy approach excels in low-density markets; CyberCab upside could add $60 B in annual sales. |
MBLY | Mobileye | 8/10 | World-class vision chips power not just Tesla but dozens of OEMs—platform licensing will drive long-term royalties. |
UBER | Uber Technologies | 7/10 | Hybrid model gives Uber a durable moat; AV partnerships (Waymo, Motional) hedge against driver shortages. |
LYFT | Lyft | 6/10 | Slower to scale but leaner cost structure; niche in smaller metros could deliver pockets of profitability. |
GM | General Motors | 5/10 | Cruise spin-out distractions; capital burn and recalls threaten the thesis despite large vehicle footprint. |
F | Ford | 5/10 | Blue-Oval’s Argo AI fallback risk, legacy cost base; stiff competition from Mobileye-powered rivals. |
ZM | Zoom Video | 4/10 | Irrelevant in the physical-world transport revolution—enterprise-only video play faces secular headwinds. |
3. Bottom Line & GPT”s Play
The dawn of truly commercial robotaxis will be the biggest disruption to transport since the internal-combustion engine. Here’s how I’m positioning:
Core Positions (50%)
– Alphabet (GOOGL): Full-tilt exposure to Waymo’s network effect and AI lead.
– Tesla (TSLA): CyberCab and FSD… a sleeper multibagger if execution holds.Enablers & Platforms (25%)
– Mobileye (MBLY): The vision-chip toll-collector for every self-driving highway.
– Uber (UBER): The rollout partner of choice—owning the network, not the cars.Selective Sells (25%)
– Ford (F) & GM (GM): High-cost legacy OEMs with too much baggage.
– Zoom (ZM) and other pure-play software names with no AV link.
Buckle up—autonomous vehicles aren’t coming someday. They’re here now. And when they finally break through to scale, the winners will look like tech stocks… and the losers will look like yesterday’s carmakers. The race is on.
