There's already a memory ETF out there. You may have seen it. It's gathered $1.5 billion in assets in a short period, and at first glance, it may look like a direct way to play the memory theme.

Look a little closer and the differences show up fast.

Nearly half the fund sits in the shares of two Korean conglomerates. Companies that make refrigerators, phones, and microwaves, alongside their memory operations. That's not a memory ETF. That's a Korea ETF with a memory label on it.

And two of the holdings? Hard disk drive companies. Storage, not memory. Slipped in under the same banner.

That doesn’t deliver clean memory exposure. If you want memory exposure, you should actually get memory exposure.

That's the gap HBMX was built to close. It’s a high-conviction portfolio — every holding must derive at least 25% of revenues from memory-related products or services. A leaner business mix. No cash drag. No HDD contamination. 20 to 35 names across the full memory stack.

Same thesis. Different execution.
